Our climate work

We measure, report and reduce our climate impact

We work systematically to reduce our climate impact. Every year we measure and report our greenhouse gas emissions according to the GHG Protocol’s Scope 1, 2 and 3 categories, and we have set a concrete target for the years ahead.

Our climate target

40 percent lower emissions by 2030

We will reduce our combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 40 percent by 2030, compared with 2025 as the baseline year: from 84,265 kg CO₂e (location-based method) to no more than 50,559 kg CO₂e.

How we work

Three tracks toward the target

We are currently reviewing the company’s entire energy consumption, evaluating renewable electricity and adapting our reporting to a European standard.

Energy

Reviewing energy consumption

We are currently reviewing the company’s entire energy consumption.

Electricity

Evaluating renewable origin

We are evaluating a switch to an electricity agreement with guaranteed renewable origin.

Reporting

Reporting under VSME

We are aligning our reporting with VSME, EFRAG’s voluntary reporting standard for non-listed small and medium-sized enterprises, recommended by the European Commission.

Baseline year

Why 2025 as the baseline year

We chose 2025 as our baseline year because the business underwent a significant change that year. We discontinued our in-house metalworking and consolidated everything at one facility in Hillerstorp, which makes earlier years less representative of how we run the business going forward.

Follow-up

We follow up every year

We follow up on the climate target and the measures behind it every year and report progress internally to employees. This page is updated as new measurement periods are completed.
